Entre Ciel et Terre Extra Brut

Champagne | Blanc | NM

2018 Main Harvest - Extra Brut:
This blend of Pinot Meunier, Chardonnay, and Pinot Noir is made from vines ranging in age from 20 to 60 years, planted on clay-marl-limestone terroirs. Aged for six years on racks, this Champagne is vinified primarily in enamel-lined tanks, with one-tenth of the production aged in oak barrels, resulting in an Extra Brut dosage of 4 g/l. This meticulous process preserves its mineral and authentic character.

Our Review of the Cuvée

This Champagne captivates from the very first glance with its luminous color. On the nose, it offers subtle aromas of stone fruits and white flowers, enhanced by notes of toast—a sign of patient and harmonious aging. On the palate, the texture is both refined and lively, reflecting its Extra Brut dosage. A pronounced minerality forms the foundation of its balance, inviting you to savor every sip as it gradually reveals a clean and lingering finish.

Champagne Françoise Bedel

Champagne | France

Françoise Bedel has established herself as a prominent figure in Champagne biodynamics, crafting wines imbued with a unique patina. The cuvées, often aged for extended periods, develop a creamy texture underpinned by a finely sculpted Meunier. Fruity notes remain distinct despite the richness of the style, supported by supple acidity and a subtle salinity. Barrel fermentation for certain cuvées adds complexity without diminishing the finesse of the effervescence. A singular universe where time plays a pivotal role.
