Our opinion on the vintage

The nose opens with aromas of ripe cherry, plum, and a touch of sweet spice. On the palate, the texture is silky and fluid, with a lovely roundness from the very first sip. The fruit dominates, juicy and generous, accompanied by a subtle hint of licorice. The tannins are discreet, almost velvety, making the wine very easy to enjoy. A straightforward red, best served slightly chilled with Southern cuisine, grilled poultry, or a vegetarian dish with mild spices.
