The Moulin estate covers 40 hectares, 20 hectares on clayey-limestone soils and 20 hectares on gravel. 80% of the vines are on hillsides, all of which give the terroirs all their specific characteristics. In 2005, after two years of work with a CNRS researcher, a crazy challenge was born: planting plots like the Grand Cru Classé, i. e. 7500 vines per hectare and leading them to organic farming! The result quickly arrived: my wines are more intense and qualitatively very appreciated.

Our story

The vineyard is a family story: 6 generations of passionate people have followed one another and the last two generations are striving to achieve high quality. In 2001, after 6 months in California, I took over the estate's operations. What a return to the roots. 2016 will be my 15th harvest and I thank my father who has always let me decide on the future of the estate despite an important family heritage to bear for me (planting, winemaking, working the vines, marketing).

Other little stories

We have been winegrowers for 6 generations, so my motivation is the quality and regularity of my wines. The constant search for the expression of the terroir and the production of great wines. The wine that most resembles me... I haven't found it yet: a black colour, a full and dense palate with a long finish. To make it even easier, all with great finesse! Did you find it? I don't have a guru. I build myself by observing the other winegrowers of the world. I have three passions: wine, Corsican and falconry since I collapse falcons to hunt.

My dream: to make a polyphonic wine. This wine is the fruit of my different plots of land, which goes perfectly with it and gives a great wine. It is also the expression of the rich and authentic culture of the Midi Toulousain, a message of the art of living of the South-West. I also participated in the election of the winegrower from the South West and qualified for the final of the young French wine talents. This recognition was an extraordinary moment for my know-how and the work we do every day in our vineyards.
