With an intense and deep colour with purple tints, this superior Bordeaux calls for tasting. Its rich and complex nose evokes ripe fruit with notes of black fruit and liquorice. The palate is both structured and smooth with flavours of wild berries, peppermint and spices. The finish gives a beautiful harmony to the whole with a sweet cocoa and vanilla taste.
The grapes are harvested at optimal maturity. Traditional vinification with maceration of the grapes at low temperature. Slow extraction of tannins and aromas, wine for ageing. Traditional maturation in both vats and barrels for 12 months minimum.
Immediate consumption or up to 10 years.
To be served ideally with red meat grills and strong cheeses.
