Agriverde

Agriverde is a historic estate in Abruzzo, located in Caldari di Ortona, whose origins date back to the 19th century. The estate is linked to the Di Carlo family, who have progressively structured it around an identity deeply rooted in the region's wine landscape.

From the late 1980s, Agriverde embarked on a conversion to organic farming, becoming one of the first Italian estates to obtain official certification. The vineyard is planted with indigenous grape varieties emblematic of Abruzzo, such as Montepulciano, Trebbiano, Pecorino, and Passerina, along with a few international varieties.

The winery was designed according to bio-architectural principles, with landscape and energy integration consistent with the estate's philosophy. This holistic approach aims to produce wines true to their origin, in a balance between winemaking tradition and modern technical solutions.
