Our Review of the Cuvée

This red wine, made from grapes grown at an altitude of 350 meters, reveals an expressive and crisp nose, dominated by notes of ripe fruit. On the palate, it stands out for its elegance and suppleness, with a clean attack that evolves into a round of pepper and spice aromas. The finesse of the tannins evokes the generous sunshine at high altitude, offering a balanced and flavorful sensory experience. Perfect with grilled red meats, lamb, poultry, or creamy cheeses, this wine reveals its full subtlety at a temperature of 17–18°C.

DOMAINE PETER SICHEL

Domaine Peter Sichel

Bordeaux | France

Domaine Peter Sichel is located in Cucugnan, a legendary spot in the Aude Pyrenees, at the heart of a valley that has remained untouched for over 700 years. Spared from urbanization, this region offers spectacular landscapes and remarkable biodiversity, a true source of inspiration for the winemaker. The estate’s history began over 30 years ago, when Peter’s grandfather fell in love with this land, its authenticity, and the bold project of planting vines there. Today, Peter Sichel carries on the legacy with a clear ambition: to reveal in his wines all the beauty and energy of this unique place. The vineyard, nestled between 350 and 500 meters above sea level, benefits from a cool mountain climate that allows for the slow and gradual ripening of the grapes. Viticultural practices, guided by the lunar calendar, favor natural herbal teas and decoctions, free of any synthetic chemicals, in order to express the authentic taste of the terroir. The
