Carefully cultivated, this wine is the result of sustainable farming practices and precise winemaking: hand-harvested, gently pressed, and aged on fine lees without malolactic fermentation. Our opinion on the vintage

This wine captivates with its pale yellow color illuminated by silvery highlights. On the nose, a delicate bouquet unfolds with notes of juicy pear, invigorating lemon zest, and a subtle hint of crushed grass. On the palate, a veritable symphony of flavors unfolds: roundness and freshness intertwine to offer a crisp texture with accents of white fruit and citrus. The lively and elegant finish is distinguished by its refined bitterness reminiscent of grapefruit and quinine, lending a delicate and lingering distinction.

Thulon Estate

Domaine de Thulon

Beaujolais | France

Located on the slopes of Beaujolais, Domaine de Thulon is situated in the former farm buildings of Château de Thulon, whose origins date back to the 15th century. The estate now cultivates approximately 16.5 hectares of vines, spread across the steep slopes characteristic of the area.

After working as sharecroppers for about twenty years, Annie and René acquired the estate in 1987, which at the time comprised 8 hectares of vines and the farm buildings. They gradually developed on-site bottling, laying the foundations of the current estate and passing on winemaking expertise to subsequent generations.

The vineyard is planted on slopes where mechanization remains limited, which means that work is predominantly manual throughout the year, from vine maintenance to harvesting. This geographical constraint encourages a careful and consistent approach to the vineyard, adapted to the specific characteristics of the Beaujolais terroir.
