Our Review of the Cuvée

This wine has a complex nose, blending fruity, smoky, toasty, and spicy aromas that evolve over the years. On the palate, it is full-bodied and silky, with a beautiful structure and remarkable length. The finish subtly reveals woody notes that round out the wine. Perfect with game birds, meat dishes cooked in wine, or strong cheeses, it will delight lovers of elegant, structured wines.

Established in 1990, Domaine Olivier Gard is managed by Manuel Olivier in the Hautes-Côtes de Nuits, in the immediate vicinity of Vosne-Romanée. The estate currently spans approximately 11 hectares, distributed between the Hautes-Côtes and the Côte de Nuits, with a focus on viticulture.

The white wines produced from these old Aligoté vines are vinified in tanks, with a focus on freshness and precision. They are characterized by clean, mineral profiles, with floral notes and a distinct liveliness. The Vieilles Vignes cuvée exemplifies this approach, offering a crisp, sparkling, and balanced white wine, renowned for
