Cerasuolo d'Abruzzo | Rosé | 2024

This wine from Abruzzo is carefully crafted from the Montepulciano grape variety. The grapes come from vineyards located at an altitude of 230 meters, benefiting from a southeast-facing slope. The harvest takes place in early October, and the winemaking process involves an initial fermentation in contact with the skins, followed by gentle pressing. The process is then monitored in stainless steel tanks, allowing the freshness and intensity of the aromas to be preserved throughout production.

Our Review of the Cuvée

This wine boasts a vibrant color ranging from vermilion to crushed raspberry. On the nose, it captivates with generous aromas of morello cherry, redcurrant, and strawberry syrup, punctuated by notes of white pepper. On the palate, it offers dazzling freshness and remarkable aromatic intensity, dominated by explosive fruitiness. Its supple, luscious texture, marked by a lively acidity, concludes with a delicious finish enriched by a noble bitterness of cherry pits. A refreshing wine with a pleasant, lingering finish, evoking an elegant grenadine.

Jasci

Abruzzo | Italy

p>Azienda Agricola Jasci is a family-owned winery located in Italy’s Abruzzo wine region, nestled in the clay-rich hills around Vasto, where the Jasci family has been cultivating vineyards for several generations. The winery was one of the first to convert to organic farming in the 1980s, long before this method became common in the region.

The vineyard covers approximately 12 hectares and includes grape varieties such as Montepulciano d’Abruzzo, Trebbiano, Pecorino, Chardonnay, and Cabernet Sauvignon. This diversity allows the estate to produce a full range of white, red, and rosé wines that reflect the character of Abruzzo.

Our winemaking process respects the unique character of the grapes and the terroir, with aging methods tailored to each cuvée, resulting in balanced, fresh, and expressive wines that offer exceptional value for money and reflect both tradition and our family’s passion.
