Grown on the clay-limestone soils of Puy Notre Dame, our Cabernet Franc reaches its full potential thanks to 15 months of aging in tanks. This method ensures a refined balance between fruity and spicy aromas, highlighting the purity of the terroir. The wine’s complexity and finesse are the result of a rigorous selection of grapes and meticulous work in the cellar.

Our Review of the Cuvée

At first glance, the deep garnet color intrigues with its depth. The nose, rich and refined, blends notes of candied blackcurrant with hints of mint and graphite, evoking a complex and sophisticated bouquet. On the palate, the texture is round and velvety, offering a rich and fresh sensation. From the very first sips, the wine surprises with its dense, enveloping body, enriched by a light effervescence that awakens the palate. The finish stands out for its intensity and perfect balance, combining fruity flavors with a refreshing minty freshness, marked by just enough tannins to provide structure.

Domaine de l'Enchantoir

Loire | France

Situated on the hill of Puy-Notre-Dame, the Domaine de l’Enchantoir cultivates 15 hectares designed as a living ecosystem: vines, trees, hedges, grasses, beneficial wildlife, and tuffeau soils come together to form a coherent and balanced whole.

The philosophy is simple: a beautiful bunch of grapes makes a good wine. The focus is on manual labor, planting cover crops selected to nourish the soil and strengthen its structure, and harvesting entirely by hand. Interventions in the winery are kept to a minimum to let the grapes and terroirs speak for themselves.

The wines are primarily aged in century-old concrete tanks to preserve their aromatic complexity and supple texture. The wines are lively yet precise, generous without being heavy, with a quiet depth and true clarity.

An estate guided by common sense, a respect for nature, and a commitment to sustainable balance.
