Brubach Marcel

Domaine Marcel Brubach is a winery established in 2016 in Solutré-Pouilly in the Mâconnais region. I produce white wines from the Chardonnay grape. A little anecdote about the estate: It's a small estate that I created from scratch in 2016! The wines are made by feel and with a lot of resourcefulness from one year to the next. We do what we can, but above all, we give our best every year! The estate's story: Originally from Alsace, I became interested in wines, appellations, and grape varieties at a very young age. Discovering the region, I quickly developed a passion for local wines and trained in the trade at various wineries in the Mâconnais region. In 2015, I took over a hectare of vineyards on a lease in the commune of Solutré-Pouilly, within the Pouilly-Fuissé and Mâcon-Solutré appellations, which I cultivate using sustainable farming practices while working another job. Encouraged by my family, I decided to quickly bottle and sell a small portion of my production. The 2016 Mâcon-Solutré was my first vintage. At the beginning of 2018, luck was on my side, and I expanded by 4.3 hectares. Today, I cultivate 6 hectares, exclusively in the hamlet of Solutré. The pride of the estate: I created this estate from scratch in 2026. It is an independent, human-scale estate. I am first and foremost a winemaker; passionate about the land, its climate, and the vines. While I am not originally from the village, I am nonetheless the heir, by adoption, to a long and rich local winemaking tradition. My estate is a complex blend of tradition and modern thinking. Created from nothing, entirely on my own.
