Here is a small, high-quality Champagne house founded by Armand-Raphaël in 1920: Champagne AR Lenoble (AR for his initials, Lenoble for the prestigious Champagne designations). Anecdotes from the estate: We pay particular attention to climate change. Thus, since the 2000s, we have cultivated our vines with a focus on biodiversity and soil health. This invisible life is nonetheless so essential to our ecosystem. In 2012, the estate's vineyards were certified HVE3, guaranteeing the absence of any herbicides or insecticides. Aging our reserve wines in magnums is a very demanding and rare production process in Champagne. However, in the context of global warming, it allows us to preserve the freshness of the wines, an essential element for our cuvées. A little history of the estate: The house covers 18 hectares of its own vineyards, located in the Grand Cru of Chouilly in the Côte des Blancs and in Bisseuil, a Premier Cru in the Montagne de Reims. The house supplements its production by purchasing grapes in the Epernay region. This house produces deep, well-rounded wines, with low dosage and some cuvées aged in oak barrels. All reserve wines age in magnums under cork. This balance between power and elegance defines the style of Lenoble wines. The Malassagne family has built the house over four generations. Now, the Frère-Gallienne family is taking over to continue its development. The pride of the estate: For over 100 years, Champagne AR Lenoble has been a family affair! Located primarily in Chouilly, this 18-hectare vineyard is classified Grand Cru for Chardonnay and Premier Cru for Pinot Noir. Renowned for its champagnes with a full texture and perfectly integrated bubbles, Maison AR Lenoble is one of the few Champagne producers to incorporate Grand Cru Chardonnay into all the wines in its range.
