Anecdotes from the Estate: We control every step of the production process, from vine cultivation to marketing. We are perfectionists and strive to satisfy both connoisseurs and novice enthusiasts. This is the challenge of our work: the pursuit of perfection. A Brief History of the Estate: The vines and vineyard date back to Gallo-Roman times. It wasn't until the 18th century that the wine officially became Champagne. At that time, Champagne was called "saulte bouchon." Until the 19th century, Champagne production was a sign of nobility, which immortalized all the major Champagne houses of that era. At the beginning of the 20th century, courageous winemakers, members of the Moutard-Diligent family, began producing their own artisanal Champagnes and introducing them to the world. The Estate's Pride: The property is located in the Côte des Bar terroir in southern Champagne, on slopes enjoying perfect sunshine. The traditional grape varieties planted there, Pinot noir and Chardonnay, reach perfect maturity and allow for a range of champagnes of consistent quality.
