Blanc de Noirs Réserve

Champagne | Blanc | NM

The Blanc de Noirs Réserve is a non-vintage blend of Pinot Noir from several vintages, designed to reflect the typical character of the Côte des Bar, transcending annual variations. The grapes are carefully pressed, the juices lightly clarified, then fermented in tanks or barrels depending on the profile of each plot. A long aging on the lees brings finesse and balance to the wine, while refining the bubbles. A measured dosage allows the minerality to fully express itself. The result is a delicious, pure, and elegant Champagne Pinot Noir!

Our Review of the Cuvée

The nose opens with notes of ripe pear, Reinette apple, and red berries, quickly joined by hints of almond, orchard flowers, and a subtle touch of brioche. On the palate, the attack is crisp, then the texture becomes more chalky, supporting a core of white fruit and crisp red berries. The fine, precise effervescence carries the wine with lightness. The long, mouth-watering finish returns to citrus, punctuated by sweet spices and a subtle hint of damp stone, the signature of the terroir.

Fun Facts About the Estate A Brief History of the Estate The estate, a former abbey dating back to 1831, features the tasting room where we are happy to welcome our guests, and the cellar where our wines age slowly.Everything is done the traditional way: the wines are stored without air conditioning thanks to the thickness of the chalk walls, and riddling and disgorging are still done by hand. The estate’s pride Producing Champagne since 1961, three generations of winemakers have succeeded one another on the family estate: Jean, the founder; his son Jean-Louis; and finally Damien and Florence. They tend to this 4-hectare Premier Cru vineyard in the heart of the Montagne de Reims, respecting Champagne traditions. The balanced distribution of the three Champagne grape varieties across our estate allows for a refined and delicate blend of wines. All of our plots benefit from an ideal orientation and terroir
