After studying wine and gaining a few years of experience, the adventure began... The estate's pride: Véronique and Franck Terral met at the Montagne wine school during their studies. Their shared passion for wine brought them together at Château Moulin de Peyronin, where they settled in 2006. It was in the heart of Entre Deux Mers in the village of Pujols (33350), near Castillon La Bataille and a few steps from Saint-Emilion that these two winemakers decided to embark on a crazy adventure by buying this 14ha estate at only 25 years old. The vineyard has been farmed organically since 1975, and it seemed only natural for Véronique and Franck to continue the work begun by the previous owners with respectful and ethical vineyard management, culminating in their conversion to biodynamic farming in 2017. Our producers in Pujols craft organic and biodynamic wines under the Bordeaux appellation, offering a wide range of wines produced with respect for the terroir and traditions: AOC Bordeaux Red, White, Rosé, Clairet, Crémant de Bordeaux White and Rosé, as well as Vin Orange (Vin de France) since 2017. A true ecosystem thrives around the vineyard plots, with 700 meters of hedgerows delineating the vineyard boundaries. The planting of various tree species promotes and maintains biodiversity within the estate. Furthermore, the green manure, used every other year in rotation with sheep grazing, helps to strengthen the soil and eliminates the need for mechanical tools. Don't hesitate to stroll through the vineyards to discover this environment! Véronique and Franck open the doors of their estate to share their passion with you in a friendly and welcoming atmosphere! You can discover the values they wish to convey through a tour of the estate and by tasting their wines, which are sure to delight your palate.
