Our story has been shaped over centuries and rewritten two decades ago by the vision of one man and a dedicated team who brought this magnificent estate back to life. Anecdotes from the estate: A vineyard that left us a beautiful gift with magnificent old Carménère vines, which are now one of the hallmarks of our wines. We are proud of the journey we have undertaken, of sharing our passion, and of contributing daily to the qualitative improvement of our vineyard. The estate's story: Twenty years ago, Dominique Hébrard, formerly co-owner of a prestigious Grand Cru Classé A, found himself seeking a new challenge after the sale of his estate. Fate led him to Château Trianon, then in a state of disrepair. Starting from scratch, he embarked on the restoration of this promising vineyard, thus writing a new chapter in his winemaking journey and in the history of this vineyard with its rich potential. The pride of the estate. A symbol of elegance and refinement, Trianon, a reference to the Petit Trianon at Versailles, also means "land." The land of Château Trianon is located southwest of Saint-Émilion, where its history can be traced back to the 17th century. Legend has it that a secretary to Louis XIV had the château built and named it "Trianon" in memory of Versailles. Since the 2000s and the acquisition of the estate by Dominique Hébrard, the objective has been simple: to restore this magnificent property to its former glory. Beautifully situated between the towns of Libourne and Saint-Émilion, and listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site as a cultural landscape, Trianon is part of the historical landscape of the Saint-Émilion vineyards, located on the southwest plateau of the appellation.
