A native of Régnié, Patrick, as he says of himself, "only knows one village, my village." Although he was born in 1962, his family has been cultivating vines in Beaujolais since 1670. Under Louis XIV, there were no straddle tractors, only animal traction. It was the Percheron horse breed that gave rise to his surname, Péchard, when they were farmers and farmers...
