Domaines Tatin
In the heart of France, between the Cher and Indre rivers, the vineyards of Domaine Tatin stretch along the banks of the Cher for the Quincy Sauvignon Blancs and along the banks of the Arnon for the Pinot Noir, Pinot Gris, and Reuilly Sauvignon Blancs. Jean is gently passing the torch to his youngest daughter, Maroussia. Anecdotes from the estate: My first harvest at age 8—you might think I was born into it... Not entirely wrong, but it took time and travel to decide to come back and work with the family! Winemaking from mother to daughter... first generation! The Estate's Story: In 2005, the Tatin sisters produced their first Reuilly, and Maroussia, the youngest of the sisters, joined them in 2010. The Estate's Pride: Located in the heart of France, between the Cher and Indre rivers, the Tatin estate's vineyards stretch along the banks of the Cher for the Quincy Sauvignon Blancs and along the banks of the Arnon for the Pinot Noir, Pinot Gris, and Reuilly Sauvignon Blancs. Jean is gradually passing the torch to his youngest daughter, Maroussia. Trained as agricultural engineers, Jean and Chantal returned to the Tremblay farm in 1988. They planted their first vines in 1991 in Quincy: Domaine des Ballandors was born on a terroir of sandy gravel, typical of the Quincy appellation.
