Léoube
Nestled on a pristine stretch of coastline, in the heart of one of Europe's most beautiful protected sites (Cap Bénat), the terroir of the Léoube wine estate, a blend of schist and clay, Provençal warmth, and sea breezes, yields organic wines with unique character. Anecdotes from the estate: Since 2000, the vineyards have been managed by Romain Ott. His philosophy: "To produce with love and gratitude the best that the land can give…". At Léoube, the goal is to develop the wines and raise their quality level while preserving the "style": a true, precise, refined, balanced, and elegant wine, dedicated to the pleasure of every wine lover. The history of the estate: Château Léoube is located in the commune of Bormes-les-Mimosas, in the Var department. While Léoube, with its 560 hectares, evokes a sense of history, it was in 1997, under the ownership of Sir Anthony Bamford, that the estate experienced a revival. Through meticulous soil and planting efforts, the estate regained its agricultural vigor, adhering to a sustainable approach. It is indeed ECOCERT certified and applies certain biodynamic principles.
