The Estate's Story: In the cellar stands an imposing, century-old wooden vertical wine press. No longer in use, it still impresses visitors! The Estate's Pride: Between Nîmes and Montpellier, between the Cévennes mountains and the Mediterranean Sea, MAS des CABRES is a wine estate where four generations of winemakers have succeeded one another. The family's presence in Aspères dates back to at least 1724. The name MAS des CABRES refers to a specific place where the vineyard is located, where goats were raised in the 18th century. Today, after many years of sustainable viticulture, the estate is committed to organic farming. Respecting the rhythm of the vine and the wine, preserving ecosystems: this is the philosophy that guides us. Red flinty clay, stony marl, and Oligocene limestone scree form this garrigue terroir. Different plot exposures are used to showcase this true mosaic of terroirs.
