We produce natural wine using an eco-responsible approach. We strive to create a pleasant and nourishing wine, with a focus on quality and simplicity. Committed to organic farming. Anecdotes from the estate: When I first visited this plot, it was winter, the hillside was covered in snow, it wasn't exactly inviting, but I immediately felt that this place was imbued with a beautiful energy conducive to producing quality wine. Thank you to everyone whose presence and participation make this adventure possible. The estate's story: A winemaker? Really!? Initially, I wanted to take over an old stone farmhouse with surrounding land to run various complementary workshops, training myself as needed and as time allowed. I embarked on a career change, and for this, I completed a short course at the Chamber of Agriculture. Lacking personal financial resources, I initially searched for a simple plot of farmland to grow vegetables and berries, raise a few chickens, and place two beehives. I found a vineyard. Bees were already present on the plot, so I took advantage of the space to introduce bees to it. I harvested a few kilos of honey in 2017. I primarily vinify in stainless steel tanks. I avoid all additives, although I do allow myself an extremely small amount of sulfites, and only when absolutely necessary. Nature often does things so well. The pride of the estate: This old vine grows on a hillside in Beaujolais. It is ideally situated in the center of a vast natural amphitheater formed in the distance by the Monts du Lyonnais. You could say the vine chose me. We now produce a natural, pleasant, and vibrant wine, with a focus on respecting the environment. I vinify in stainless steel tanks and avoid all additives as much as possible. Nature often does things so well. The business has been committed to organic farming since 2021. Previously, the cultivation methods were already perfectly compatible with organic farming, but without certification. I chose to manage the vineyard with permanent ground cover, which I try to control by mowing. I don't use herbicides. I also don't use insecticides. I'm also considering grazing animals, chickens and sheep. The vines are treated as little as possible, only when necessary against downy mildew and powdery mildew. I took advantage of the space to install beehives on the plot, and I harvest a small quantity of a few kilos of honey.
