Clos Joseph is a red wine from the Minervois AOP appellation, produced by the Clos Joseph estate, a family vineyard owned by the Escoï family in the Languedoc region. The Minervois terroir combines Mediterranean influences, varied soils (schist, limestone, gravel) and well-oriented exposures, allowing the local grape varieties — often Syrah, Grenache and Carignan — to produce wines that are powerful, ripe and structured.

Intense nose of black fruits and Mediterranean spices. Generous, structured and warm palate. Long and luscious finish.

Domaine Montaude is a family business rooted in Roquecourbe-Minervois, where four generations of winemakers have shaped the estate's identity. It all began with Joseph, the great-grandfather, who arrived in France after fleeing the Spanish dictatorship. He bought his first vines and passed on his passion to his descendants. The estate has grown over the generations, and today, Philippe and Patricia, joined by their son Thomas, continue this legacy by embracing digital technology and exporting their wines. The estate's vineyards cover 9 hectares of gently sloping hillsides and terraces overlooking the Aude River, planted with traditional grape varieties such as Carignan, Grenache, Syrah, and Cinsault, complemented by Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Chardonnay, and Sauvignon Blanc. The wines, both AOP Minervois and Vin de Pays, authentically reflect this Mediterranean terroir. Committed to sustainable farming and in organic conversion since 2019, the estate is moving forward with the desire to respect the land and
