This wine is made using a natural method with indigenous yeasts and gentle extraction through manual punch-downs. No oenological intervention is carried out, thus guaranteeing the purity of the product. After 24 months of aging in old oak casks, the wine is bottled without filtration or added sulfites, revealing its authentic character and velvety texture. The clay-limestone terroir also contributes to the wine's balance and finesse.

Our opinion on the vintage

This wine captivates at first glance with its deep, translucent garnet color. On the nose, spicy notes mingle with aromas of stewed fruit, offering subtle complexity. On the palate, it is distinguished by its roundness and ethereal texture, where the velvety body gives way to fruity flavors, enriched by harmonious aging. Aromatic freshness introduces a pleasant tension, while the finish intensifies with hints of fresh fruit and sweet spices, bringing beautiful depth. This wine offers a refined and balanced tasting experience.

At Jonc Blanc, Isabelle Carles and Franck Pascal have chosen a demanding, near-biodynamic approach to agriculture, resulting in wines that are honest, structured, and sometimes surprising. The estate works with a variety of grape varieties, including Sauvignon Blanc, Sémillon, Merlot, and Cabernet Sauvignon, and above all, seeks to express the terroir. The wines often display a pronounced character, a dense texture, but also a refreshing energy. The winemaking process remains minimally interventionist, which gives the wines a unique and easily recognizable personality.
