Mas Des Caprices

Le Blanc de l'Oeuf 2023

Corbières | White | 2023

This wine is a subtle blend of Grenache Blanc and Gris, Maccabeu, enhanced with a touch of Muscat. Vinified and aged in an egg-shaped vat, it gains roundness and suppleness, while retaining a beautiful fruity and floral expression.

Born on the limestone soils of Leucate, it offers a balance between fruit, richness and iodine freshness.
Ideal to accompany exotic cuisine, grilled fish and seafood.

Our opinion on the vintage

On the nose, this wine reveals delicate aromas of white flowers and white-fleshed fruit, with a subtle mineral note. On the palate, it offers a successful marriage of freshness and smoothness, thanks to its vinification in egg-shaped concrete tanks, which promotes a beautifully velvety texture. A touch of Muscat adds a light aromatic dimension without overpowering the other grape varieties. The finish, with its iodine and floral notes, leaves an impression of purity and elegance. Perfect for adding a refined touch to your next seafood meal.

Mas Des Caprices

Languedoc | France

At Mas Des Caprices, Mireille and Pierre Mann place Carignan at the heart of a project focused on maritime freshness. The sandy and limestone soils produce supple reds, often with a subtle salinity. The minimal-intervention winemaking relies on gentle extraction and measured aging, allowing the fruit to remain pure and expressive. The wines take on an ethereal quality, with restrained energy and a delicate tension that tempers the southern heat. This estate is clearly redefining the interpretation of Fitou wines.
