La Grapp'A

Cap au Sud 2024

Vin de France | Red | 2024

An attempt at blending multiple grape varieties, a meeting between the Jura and the South
Here, no less than 8 grape varieties: Pinot Noir, Trousseau, Ploussard, Chardonnay and Savagnin from the Jura side, and Carignan, Grenache and Clairette for the South.

The result is genuinely nice. The wine needs to be opened a little in advance to give it every chance to express itself. A wine with good red and black fruit, garrigue spices but supple, fluid and gourmand. Furthermore, the aging in stainless steel tanks greatly contributes to this suppleness.

Note that the wine is not filtered :)

Our opinion on the vintage

A wine with pronounced red and black fruit, spices from the garrigue, but supple, fluid and delicious.

La Grapp'A

Languedoc | France

In Auvergne, La Grapp'A produces wines made primarily from Gamay grapes grown on basaltic soils. The reds develop a vibrant black fruit character, a subtle tension, and a slightly smoky touch typical of the region. The very gentle winemaking process yields elegant, sometimes almost infused, wines. An engaging and approachable estate that truly does justice to the volcanic revival of Auvergne.
