Our opinion on the vintage

On the nose, this wine reveals complex notes of Mediterranean herbs, punctuated by hints of dark fruit and sweet spices. On the palate, the attack is silky, facilitated by the delicate tannins resulting from its aging in oak barrels. Ripe fruit flavors mingle harmoniously with toasty aromas, lingering with notes of garrigue. The structure is generous, yet not heavy, with a subtly mineral finish, likely inherited from the clay-limestone soils. This is a wine that embodies its terroir with refinement, all in gentleness and elegance.

The Ledogar brothers have revived old vines planted on limestone plateaus and sandstone soils. Carignan finds an authentic, juicy, almost vibrant expression here. Vinification is gentle, designed to preserve a broad and luscious fruitiness. The estate practices biodynamic viticulture and regularly explores original aging techniques that refine the texture without losing the terroir's identity. Plenty of depth, yet always a joyful character.
