ROCCA NIGRA is a carefully crafted wine, showcasing Cabernet Sauvignon grown in the rocky soils of schist and Armorican sandstone. Respectful of nature, the vineyard is managed organically. The grapes, harvested at peak ripeness, undergo a long maceration to develop their finesse. After aging for 18 months, this wine offers beautiful complexity and an aging potential of 8 to 15 years.

Our opinion on the vintage

ROCCA NIGRA captivates at first glance with its deep garnet color. The nose reveals enchanting aromas of blackcurrant, pencil lead, and cubeb pepper. On the palate, it offers a comforting roundness and breadth, enhanced by a dense texture. The lively blackcurrant surprises with its freshness, while the well-integrated tannins prolong the experience with a complex finish featuring menthol and tertiary nuances. This wine pairs beautifully with grilled meats and dishes with sauces.

Domaine de Bablut

Loire | France

In Anjou, Domaine de Bablut primarily works with Chenin Blanc and Cabernet Franc, emblematic grape varieties of the region. The vineyard rests largely on schist soils, which impart a tension and vibrancy to the wines, perceptible in both the white and red varieties.

The winemaking process is carried out with precision, favoring moderate extraction to preserve the purity of the fruit and the balance of the structure. The white wines express themselves with lively and straightforward profiles, while the reds maintain a clear framework and measured structure. Aging remains discreet, designed to complement the wines without influencing their style.

All the wines are distinguished by an assumed sobriety and a natural relief, offering a faithful and legible reading of the Anjou terroirs, without seeking effects or demonstration.
