Our opinion on the vintage

Let yourself be seduced by this red wine with its intense purple hue. Its delicate nose reveals luscious aromas of blackberry cream and black cherry, enhanced by spicy nuances and cocoa. On the palate, it's an explosion of sensations: a round and velvety texture envelops the palate, enlivened by a fleshy and luscious body. Each sip reveals vibrant fruit and remarkable density, while the generous finish offers a flavorful chewiness and a pleasant persistence, prolonged by notes of blackberry and cocoa. Each of these qualities reflects the winemaker's care and passion for their craft.

Domaine Julien Auroux

Beaujolais | France

We're in the Auvergne region, and that makes all the difference: volcanic soils, natural acidity, vibrant yet not thin juices. Auroux works with Gamay and other local varieties with a gentleness reminiscent of natural winemaking, without resorting to easy solutions. The wines are often crisp, sometimes deeper depending on the plot. In short: quiet energy. A true pleasure to pair with food.
