Julien Auroux, drawing on his extensive international experience, has converted the 11 hectares of his family estate to organic farming. This wine, a blend of Sauvignon Blanc and Sauvignon Gris, is carefully vinified in stainless steel tanks. The minimal use of additives ensures an authentic expression of the clay-limestone terroir. A touch of sulfites is added before bottling, guaranteeing optimal preservation while respecting the wine's natural character.

Our opinion on the vintage

This wine reveals delicate aromas of white fruit and floral notes on the nose, instantly captivating the palate. On the palate, its texture is both fresh and enveloping, offering beautiful complexity. The blend of Sauvignon Blanc and Sauvignon Gris creates a subtle harmony between vivacity and creaminess, with mineral nuances that pleasantly prolong the experience. The clean and precise finish invites further tasting. A perfect choice for lovers of authentic and expressive wines.

Domaine Julien Auroux

Beaujolais | France

We're in the Auvergne region, and that makes all the difference: volcanic soils, natural acidity, vibrant yet not thin juices. Auroux works with Gamay and other local varieties with a gentleness reminiscent of natural winemaking, without resorting to easy solutions. The wines are often crisp, sometimes deeper depending on the plot. In short: quiet energy. A true pleasure to pair with food.
