Our opinion on the vintage
Grosperrin
Maison Grosperrin is an independent Cognac house founded in Saintes and renowned for its rigorous and meticulously crafted selection of eaux-de-vie from the various crus of the Cognac region. The Grosperrin family is dedicated to seeking out, purchasing, and aging exceptional Cognacs from small producers, focusing on quality and authenticity.
Unlike the big houses that often produce industrial blends, Grosperrin values old eaux-de-vie, sometimes more than fifty years old, aged slowly in oak barrels in traditional cellars, allowing complex aromas and depth to develop.
The house's cognacs are renowned for their finesse, aromatic richness and balance, offering a tasting experience that fully reflects the terroir of the great Cognac crus such as Grande Champagne.
