Our opinion on the vintage

This red wine, made from a Mediterranean grape variety, offers an intense nose of red fruit and spices, with a hint of garrigue. On the palate, it is warm and generous, with silky tannins and a lovely length. Its velvety texture and persistent finish evoke convivial meals centered around authentic cuisine. Served slightly chilled, it will perfectly complement grilled meat or a stew.

Le Jas des Papes

Vallée du Rhône | France

Jas des Papes is a 9-hectare estate located east of the Châteauneuf-du-Pape appellation, primarily in the Saumades lieu-dit. Rooted in the winemaking tradition of the Rhône Valley, the estate was acquired in 2014 by Michel Audibert, a fifth-generation winemaker, after a century of family roots in Provence. Today, Sébastien Philibert and JP Meuwesen are at the helm of the winemaking. The vineyard boasts a wide variety of soils, ranging from sand to rolled pebbles, sometimes mixed together within the same plot. Each parcel is vinified separately to optimize the vine's unique character. The old Grenache, Syrah, Cinsault, and Clairette vines fully express the terroir's identity. The estate has been certified organic since 2017 and works exclusively within the Châteauneuf-du-Pape appellation.
