Domaine Ménard Gaborit
Located in the heart of the Muscadet Sèvre-et-Maine appellation, Domaine Ménard-Gaborit is one of the historical benchmarks of the Nantes vineyard region. The estate is currently managed by the Ménard-Gaborit family, heirs to several generations of winemakers dedicated to a precise and demanding interpretation of Melon de Bourgogne. The vineyard is cultivated organically, with particular attention paid to soil vitality and the expression of the terroirs.
The plots primarily rest on gneiss and amphibolite soils, two major geological signatures of the region, which impart to the wines their saline framework, linearity, and aging potential. Vineyard work aims for controlled yields and optimal ripeness, in order to preserve the grape variety's natural freshness while gaining depth.
