Château Ferran

Château Ferran

Bordeaux | France

Located in Haut-Benauge, in the heart of the Entre-deux-Mers region, Château Ferran is an intimate estate surrounded by woods and plots of land left to grow wild. This unspoiled environment plays a central role in maintaining the vineyard’s balance and naturally limits external influences.

Julien Ferran has been farming his 20 hectares organically since 2000, and later using biodynamic methods, with careful soil management, regular plowing, and winemaking using native yeasts. The lunar calendar guides some of the decisions in the winery, with a focus on respecting natural rhythms rather than seeking specific effects.

The vineyard features a blend of red and white grape varieties typical of Bordeaux: Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, and Cabernet Franc for the reds; Sémillon and Muscadelle for the whites. The wines emphasize crisp fruit, understated balance, and an authentic expression of the terroir, without excessive technical intervention.

A cohesive, well-defined field, driven by a committed approach and
