Our Review of the Cuvée

This Pinot Noir boasts a beautiful red color and a fruity nose with aromas of red berries. On the palate, it offers a pleasant lightness with lingering notes of wild strawberries. Perfect with veal risotto or cooked ham, this wine is enjoyable at any time of day. It can even be a delightful surprise with dessert, especially a raspberry tart. A wine that knows how to charm the palate.

In Seigy, on the left bank of the Cher River, Domaine Biet is a story of family and tradition. Julie and her father Jean-Marc now work side by side at this Loire Valley vineyard, united by a shared vision: to produce authentic wines that respect their environment and are deeply rooted in their terroir. The estate stretches across the clay-limestone hillsides typical of Touraine, a few kilometers from Blois, in a rural setting that remains very vibrant.

Her connection to wine is long-standing and deeply personal. Julie grew up amidst markets, fairs, and grape harvests, immersed in the rhythms and sounds of the trade. After gaining experience in the wine trade, both in France and internationally, she returned to the estate with a desire to bring her own perspective to it, while remaining true to the family legacy. They work as a team, striking a balance between tradition and innovation, each contributing their own sensibility.
