Our Review of the Cuvée

A full-bodied, rich wine with aromas of dark fruit, sweet spices, and violets. On the palate, it is supple and velvety, with lovely tannins and a slightly spicy finish that adds freshness and balance. A modern Languedoc red, perfect with grilled meats, red meats, or aged cheeses.

Languedoc | France

Maison Bruno Andreu is part of a long line of Languedoc winemakers. In Montblanc, Emmanuelle and Bruno Andreu craft forward-thinking wines based on precise vineyard selections and meticulous blending. This demanding approach results in a cohesive, accessible, and resolutely contemporary range.

During the renovation of the barrel cellar, a remarkable discovery served as a reminder of the site’s deep-rooted history: a statue of the Virgin Mary, a relic donated by the Bishop of Béziers in the 16th century to protect the village, its inhabitants, and its vineyards. It is a powerful symbol that bears witness to the site’s rich winemaking heritage.

Bruno Andreu has established himself as one of the most promising winemakers of his generation. With over twenty years of experience crafting prestigious wines in the Languedoc region, he produces precise and ambitious wines that are now available in more than twenty countries and regularly win awards at international competitions.
