Our Review of the Cuvée

The Viognier we offer is a wine with a beautiful deep golden color and silver highlights, hinting at its richness and complexity. On the nose, captivating aromas of apricot, blossom honey, hawthorn, and candied citrus delight the senses. On the palate, its full-bodied structure and velvety texture reveal a delicate sweetness, with a fruity and mineral finish that leaves a sensation of freshness in the mouth. This wine pairs wonderfully with asparagus risotto or veal blanquette, offering a tasting experience that is both indulgent and balanced.

In Coursan, in the southern Aude region, the Domaine Ricardelle de Lautrec is nestled in a landscape steeped in history, at the crossroads of La Clape, the Minervois, and the Corbières. Although considered unconventional at the time, this decision proved to be transformative: the soil came back to life, biodiversity returned, and even large animals and birds of prey made a comeback, becoming a defining feature of the estate.
