Our opinion on the vintage

From the first glance, the golden robe captivates the eye with its radiant luminosity. On the nose, enchanting aromas of white-fleshed fruit emerge with finesse. The first sip reveals a silky texture and a surprising balance, combining fresh tension with enveloping tenderness. This wine provides a sensation of fullness on the palate, supported by a delicate minerality that lingers beautifully. You will appreciate this Chardonnay for its aromatic complexity and elegance, which invite new discoveries with each tasting.

Domaine Jean Foillard

Beaujolais | France

Located in Villié-Morgon, at the heart of one of Beaujolais' most emblematic crus, Domaine Jean Foillard is today an absolute benchmark for lovers of great terroir Gamays. A key figure in the Beaujolais revival, Jean Foillard very early on chose viticulture that respects living organisms and natural vinification, following in the footsteps of the pioneers who restored the region's reputation.

The vines, often over 50 years old, plunge their roots into the granitic soils typical of Morgon, bringing depth, structure, and a unique mineral signature to the wines. Here, there are no artificial interventions: manual harvesting, indigenous yeasts, little to no sulfur, long and gentle macerations to extract the fruit without harshness. Everything is designed to preserve the purity of the grape and the most sincere expression of the place.
