Château Cantelaudette

Bordeaux | France

Located in Arveyres, between Bordeaux and Libourne, Château Cantelaudette is a family estate situated on a plateau overlooking the Dordogne River, benefiting from both the river's influence and its proximity to the ocean. Passed down within the Chatelier Vineyards for several generations, the estate boasts a winemaking history that began in 1870. In 1984, Jean-Michel Chatelier took over the property and undertook the reconstruction of the vineyard, planting vines according to specific criteria and building a functional winery to produce the estate's wines. The family considers the vine, the soil, the climate, and the people as a living and complex ecosystem that must be respected to ensure the sustainability of viticulture. Their work strives for excellence, both in grape production and winemaking. Combining traditional methods and modern technologies, the estate relies on a committed team sensitive to environmental respect, in order to produce generous wines that are true to their
