Our opinion on the vintage

This Charentais Merlot (90%) reveals an enticing bouquet of ripe red fruits such as cherry and raspberry. On the palate, its silky, luscious texture displays remarkable intensity, with subtle hints of plum and a pleasant touch of spice. The finish is long and refreshing.

Domaine La Part aux Groles, managed by Julien Desrante in Graves-Saint-Amant in Charente, is a small wine estate committed to organic and natural viticulture, cultivating plots of vines on limestone soils and producing, in particular, white wines based on Sauvignon Blanc.

The philosophy of the estate is based on manual work, without chemical inputs, fining or filtration, in order to enhance the pure expression of the fruit and the Charente terroir.

The wines produced are distinguished by their aromatic freshness, elegance and harmonious structure, reflecting the respectful approach to the vine and the desire to produce authentic and vibrant vintages.
