This wine is made from 45-year-old vines planted in clay-limestone soil, lending remarkable elegance and subtlety to this cuvée. Made from 100% Gamay, it offers a rich and fresh style, perfect for pairing with casual summer meals, such as grilled meats or charcuterie. Our Review of the Cuvée

From the very first whiff, this Gamay reveals generous aromas of red berries such as raspberry and cherry. On the palate, it is light and pleasant, with a fruity attack and a delicate finish, free of excessive tannins. A brief decanting allows its full complexity to emerge, shedding the slight initial reduction. This wine, both elegant and unpretentious, charms with its immediate freshness and supple texture, promising a moment of authentic and convivial enjoyment, especially when paired with simple, flavorful dishes!

Domaine Tripoz

Domaine Tripoz

Burgundy | France

In the Mâconnais region, Domaine Tripoz cultivates its vineyard biodynamically, on clay-limestone soils characteristic of the sub-region. The viticultural practices aim for natural balance and optimal ripeness, in order to preserve the distinctiveness of the grape varieties and terroirs.

Chardonnays form the core of the production. They exhibit broad and structured profiles, supported by consistent tension that provides balance and length. The aging processes are meticulously managed, alternating between vats and barrels depending on the cuvées, with the aim of nurturing the wine's substance without over-complicating its expression.

Pinot Noirs, produced in smaller quantities, offer wines with clear fruit and a fluid texture, prioritizing suppleness and drinkability. The entire range of cuvées is characterized by remarkable overall consistency, featuring precise, balanced, and expressive wines that are true to the Mâconnais identity.
