Our Review of the Cuvée

Upon opening, "L'Alliance" reveals an alluring nose, combining the freshness of mango and white-fleshed fruits with elegant nuances. On the palate, a lively and silky sensation unfolds, harmoniously blending fine spices with subtle pepper. The minerality, a hallmark of great Savennières wines, punctuates the tasting with a refined finish. This sensory experience is ideal as an aperitif, pairing perfectly with simple dishes like warm goat cheese, while allowing the pure expression of the terroir to shine.

In Savennières, Laureau approaches Chenin with a broad yet refined interpretation. The white wines acquire a silky texture, underpinned by a mineral tension characteristic of schist. Long aging periods, often on lees, contribute volume without obscuring aromatic precision. These are profound yet disciplined wines, reflecting the strict identity of the terroir.
