Our opinion on the vintage

Upon opening, this wine reveals a seductive nose marked by delicately interwoven aromas. On the palate, its texture is both supple and structured, offering a lovely roundness. The flavors unfold gradually, providing a sensation of richness while maintaining a welcome freshness. The presence of the casks and barrels adds another dimension, allowing the subtle notes to fully express themselves. The long and elegant finish leaves a pleasant and lingering impression, perfect for a refined accompaniment to shared meals.

In Brézé and Saint-Cyr-en-Bourg, Arnaud Lambert works some of the most emblematic limestone terroirs of the Saumur region. This diversity of soils allows him to explore contrasting expressions of Chenin Blanc and Cabernet Franc, with particular attention paid to the purity of the profiles and the precision of the balance.

The grapes are rigorously ripened to preserve the fruit's vibrancy and a clean structure. The white wines are distinguished by a marked tension and a precise mineral expression, while the reds favor gentle extractions, resulting in fine textures and well-integrated tannins. Aging is tailored to each cuvée and vintage, always designed to complement the wine without influencing its style.

The entire body of work from the estate offers a clear and refined interpretation of these Loire Valley terroirs, with wines built on accuracy, precision and the ability to faithfully translate their origin.
