This wine is made from Merlot grapes grown on clay-limestone and clay-silt soils. Harvested by hand and machine, the grapes are carefully sorted before being vinified as whole berries. Aging in concrete tanks for six months gives the wine a velvety texture, while the absence of added sulfites allows you to fully savor its fruity aromas and natural freshness.

Our take on this vintage

On the nose, this wine reveals an explosion of creamy black fruit and sweet spices. On the palate, it unfolds with remarkable roundness and fullness; the texture is velvety, almost luscious. The sensation of ripe fruit envelops the palate, balanced by a touch of freshness provided by a subtle effervescence. The finish is generous, leaving a rich and lingering impression. A wine for pure enjoyment, sure to charm with its simplicity and aromatic richness.

Bordeaux | France

On the hillsides of Castillon-Côtes de Bordeaux, Château Beynat offers a restrained and accessible expression of Merlot, the estate’s primary grape variety. The vineyard is situated on gently sloping terrain—typical of the region—which promotes gradual ripening and natural balance.

The estate is managed using biodynamic methods, an approach that here emphasizes stability and continuity rather than stylistic flourishes. The winemaking process emphasizes gentle extraction and carefully controlled aging, allowing the wine to evolve slowly and smoothly. Some vintages express themselves with a fuller body, while others develop more straightforward profiles, marked by a subtle minerality.

The wines are distinguished by their smooth development and aging potential, with a restrained yet persistent character. The work carried out at Château Beynat offers a unique interpretation of Castillon, based on precision and restraint
