Tripoz Estate

Aligoté Flower

French wine | White | NM

This traditional method produces a 100% Aligoté. Its production highlights a clay-limestone terroir, with 20-year-old vines. The wine is made without chaptalization or sulfiting, using indigenous yeasts to achieve a natural and authentic result. Aging on the lees in the bottle for 6 to 12 months, with no dosage after disgorgement, accentuates its freshness and lightness.

In the Mâconnais region, Domaine Tripoz cultivates its vineyards using biodynamic methods on the clay-limestone soils characteristic of the subregion. Vineyard management focuses on achieving natural balance and optimal ripeness to preserve the distinct character of the grape varieties and terroirs.

Chardonnays form the core of our production. They feature full-bodied, structured profiles, underpinned by a consistent tension that lends balance and length. Aging is managed with precision, alternating between tanks and barrels depending on the cuvée, with the aim of enhancing the wine’s body without weighing down its expression.

The Pinot Noirs, produced in smaller quantities, yield wines with bright fruit and a smooth texture, emphasizing suppleness and drinkability. The entire range is characterized by great overall consistency, with precise, balanced, and approachable wines that remain true to the identity of the Mâconnais region.
