Drémot Marroy Champagne

Le Triau Extra Brut Champagne

Champagne | White | NM

This vintage reflects the authenticity and care that goes into every stage of its production. Its expert blend of 50% Meunier, 30% Chardonnay, and 20% Pinot Noir benefit from a winemaking process that respects the ecosystem. With extended aging on the lees, it reveals an elegant roundness and suppleness. The absence of malolactic fermentation preserves its original freshness, while aging on slats for 32 months enriches its structure and length on the palate, without the addition of sweetening wine.

Our take on this vintage

From the very first glance, this cuvée captivates with its pale gold color and lively, persistent effervescence. The nose is delicately floral, evoking fields in bloom, with hints of citrus that give way to a vanilla-like aroma. On the palate, the attack is fresh and full-bodied, carried by a clean, lively effervescence. The spring-like aromas detected on the nose intensify, evolving into a rich fruitiness of Reinette apples and Mirabelle plums. This cuvée is of rare elegance, endowed with a purity and energy magnificently supported by a precise and flavorful finish, offering a tasting experience that is both refined and invigorating.

Champagne Drémot Marroy is a family-owned estate located in Charly-sur-Marne, run by Mélanie and Jean-Rémi Drémont. The estate has developed a viticultural approach centered on authenticity and respect for the soil, having recently obtained organic certification to promote the health of the vines and the quality of the grapes.

The vineyards are planted with Pinot Meunier, Pinot Noir, and Chardonnay, and are cultivated with great attention to grape ripeness and biodiversity. The estate manages the rows and ground cover to promote healthy, balanced soils.

In the cellar, winemaking is carried out with restraint, highlighting the characteristics of each vineyard and producing balanced, refined wines that are representative of the Marne Valley.
