Our Review of the Cuvée

On the nose, this wine offers an intriguing presence that captivates the senses, with promising notes from the Rkatsiteli grape variety. On the palate, its texture is round and full-bodied, caressing the palate in an enveloping way. A well-defined freshness stands out, balancing the currently slightly austere character of the aromas. A little patience will allow its aromatic potential to express itself more freely, undoubtedly revealing the richness hidden beneath its orange hue. For the natural wine enthusiast, this raw and authentic character is an irresistible charm.

Kakheti | Georgia

Okro’s Wines is a natural winery located in Sighnaghi, in the Kakheti wine region of Georgia, founded by John Okruashvili, who began bottling his own wines around 2009 in his hometown. He cultivates a few hectares of indigenous grape varieties such as Saperavi and Takveri for reds, as well as Tsolikouri, Kakhuri Mtsvane, and Rkatsiteli for whites, using organic viticulture and traditional winemaking methods.

Okro’s Wines produces white, red, and orange wines with rich aromatic profiles and a vitality characteristic of the Georgian winemaking tradition, representing one of the
