Our Review of the Cuvée

From the very first encounter with this cuvée, its deep garnet color catches the eye. On the nose, aromas of candied cherry and sweet spices unfold. On the palate, the roundness and fullness of this Counoise unfold gently, offering an airy texture that grows in intensity. Notes of cherry and spice blend delicately, adding to the wine’s complexity. The finish is surprising, with a slightly mischievous touch that gives way to an explosion of flavors of chocolatey and spicy cherry, while remaining fresh and refined.

These cuvées exhibit an instinctive harmony, as if the diverse grape varieties of Minervois willingly coexist. Carignan, Grenache, Cinsault: each contributes a nuance without dominating. The rarer white wines are particularly surprising. The vinifications are straightforward, occasionally a bit rustic, yet the overall expression maintains genuine sincerity. In short: excellent drinkability.
