Our Review of the Cuvée

Upon opening, this wine surprises with a subtle nose featuring smoky and fermentative notes, which gradually evolve into a delicate bouquet of roasted white fruits and toasted hazelnuts. On the palate, it offers a seductive roundness with a sensation of freshness and crispness. Its density, rare for a white wine, impresses and delights with a pulpy texture, a perfect echo of the aromas explored on the nose. The intense and concentrated finish leaves a persistent imprint of ripe pear, lemon pulp, and chalky nuances, inviting another sip.

Domaine Andiran's approach is primarily based on a committed natural philosophy, aiming to preserve the intact character of Gascon grape varieties. Behind very low-intervention vinifications, one finds straightforward juices, sometimes slightly unrefined in their youth, but always characterized by clear fruit and vibrant energy. The Gros Manseng and the range of local grape varieties offer digestible whites, slightly effervescent upon opening, which gain complexity over minutes. The reds express themselves in a supple register, driven by immediate red fruit. A sincere and agricultural vision of Gascony.
