Coming from a family of farmers spanning four generations, Manuel has followed his passion for wine since childhood to become a winemaker. Deeply connected to his roots, he has developed his estate in the Hautes Côtes de Nuits, while also acquiring vineyards in the Côte de Nuits and Côte de Beaune. With a comprehensive range spanning from Regional appellations to Grands Crus, our estate prioritizes sustainable viticulture to protect the environment. Domaine Olivier Gard
Established in 1990, Domaine Olivier Gard is managed by Manuel Olivier in the Hautes-Côtes de Nuits, in the immediate vicinity of Vosne-Romanée. The estate currently spans approximately 11 hectares, distributed between the Hautes-Côtes and the Côte de Nuits, with a focus on viticulture.
The vineyard notably includes an Aligoté parcel, a grape variety historically planted in the area and closely linked to the local cultivation of berries. This regional tradition — blackcurrants, raspberries, strawberries — remains vibrant, with the family continuing to cultivate and directly sell these fruits, emblematic of the Hautes-Côtes.
