Our Review of the Cuvée

On the nose, this rosé opens with fresh red fruits (wild strawberries and raspberries) and a subtle floral note that makes it light and charming. On the palate, it is refined and delicate, with just the right amount of liveliness to remain fresh and easy to drink. The finish is clean, simple, and sincere, like a return to the roots that reflects Burgundy’s clay-limestone terroir. A natural and authentic rosé, to be enjoyed with pleasure and lightness!

Domaine Tripoz

Domaine Tripoz

Burgundy | France

In the Mâconnais region, Domaine Tripoz cultivates its vineyard biodynamically, on clay-limestone soils characteristic of the sub-region. The viticultural practices aim for natural balance and optimal ripeness, in order to preserve the distinctiveness of the grape varieties and terroirs.

Chardonnays form the core of the production. They exhibit broad and structured profiles, supported by consistent tension that provides balance and length. The aging processes are meticulously managed, alternating between vats and barrels depending on the cuvées, with the aim of nurturing the wine's substance without over-complicating its expression.

Pinot Noirs, produced in smaller quantities, offer wines with clear fruit and a fluid texture, prioritizing suppleness and drinkability. The entire range of cuvées is characterized by remarkable overall consistency, featuring precise, balanced, and expressive wines that are true to the Mâconnais identity.
